Q1: In your opinion, what has transformed SMU from missing a bowl to having already qualified for the postseason and being in the hunt for the West Division title?
A1: The biggest difference is that the roster has been almost completely turned over now in Year 3 under Chad Morris. The staff was able to find some diamonds in the rough from the June Jones era, namely WR Courtland Sutton, CB Jordan Wyatt, DE Justin Lawler and center Evan Brown (who, not surprisingly are the SMU captains). But for the most part now, these are Morris recruits out on the field, especially on defense.
