A resounding 49-7 rout of Virginia in the Military Bowl prevented Navy from suffering just its second losing season since 2003 and provided some positive momentum going into winter workouts and spring practice. However, head coach Ken Niumatalolo was concerned about what happened during the 1-6 skid and knew some issues needed to be addressed.
