Fennell and Rees Brothers Earn All-America Honors
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — NCAA quarterfinalists for the first time since 2008, the Navy men's lacrosse team placed three players on the 2016 USILA All-America Team, it was announced Saturday morning. Junior defenseman Chris Fennell earned second-team honors, junior long pole Matt Rees was named to the third team and second-year midfielder Casey Rees garnered honorable mention status. Navy has had at least one player (276 different Mids) earn All-America recognition in 93 of the 95 years in which the awards have been handed out, including each of the last three years under head coach Rick Sowell.
