Falcons' QB has been here before

For some college football teams, losing the starting quarterback to a season-ending injury would be devastating.

Air Force was fortunate to have an experienced backup ready to step in when Nate Romine injured a knee in the second game.

When Karson Roberts leads the Falcons into Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on Saturday, he won't be overwhelmed by the pressure of playing a service academy rival on the road.

That's because Roberts has been here before, literally. Roberts started against Navy in Annapolis as a sophomore. He played in 10 games with three starts that season and performed fairly well, passing for 273 yards and rushing for 253 yards.
