Navy is unbeaten against Tulsa since joining the American Athletic Conference. The Golden Hurricane have been unable to stop the Midshipmen, who have averaged almost 40 points and 472 yards during those five games.
In 2015, Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds directed an attack that rolled up 44 points and 524 yards, almost all of which came on the ground. That was the first of three straight games the Mids amassed 500 yards or more against Tulsa.
Last season, quarterback Malcolm Perry was the catalyst as Navy rolled up 45 points on 423 yards at Tulsa.
That trend, however, could see an end this season as Tulsa’s defense is vastly improved while Navy’s offense is struggling.
