Annapolis resident Zeke Horowitz took advantage of the only race held on Saturday to seize the lead in J/22 class at the Annapolis stop of the Helly Hansen National Offshore One-Design series.
Horowitz and his crew aboard Uncle Fluffy placed second in Race 6 of the regatta and that result moved Horowitz from third to first in the 32-boat J/22 fleet. The North Sails professional, who won two of the five races held on Friday, now has a low score of 32 points.
Jeff Todd, who works with Horowitz at the North-Chesapeake loft in Eastport, stands second in J/22 class with 35 points after finishing eighth on Saturday.
