Going into the week, Lehigh at Navy shaped up as an important game in the Patriot League standings. It took on added importance after the Mountain Hawks and Midshipmen were both upset in road games held on Wednesday night.
It was a particular important game for home-standing Mids, who lost the first meeting between the schools in Bethlehem on January 2.
Senior guard Taylor Dunham scored 17 points to lead three players in double figures as Navy beat Lehigh, 53-50, in a battle for second place in the Patriot League. Sophomore forward Kaila Clark notched her fourth double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Midshipmen, who have won six of their last seven.
