Olivia Jenner grew up about 10 minutes away from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The McDonogh School graduate attended several Navy women's lacrosse games there over the years and remembers receiving instruction from head coach Cindy Timchal and her staff as a youngster.
So it meant a lot to Jenner to step on the field at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and help lead fifth-ranked Duke to a commanding 18-9 victory over Navy on a frigid Friday afternoon in Annapolis. Jenner, a freshman midfielder, captured 14 draws and totaled two goals and two assists as the Blue Devils dominated possession.
