Dominant win with mistakes mingled in is best of both worlds for Mids

Demond Brown muffed the first two kickoffs he received. The senior slotback will be hearing from assistant coach Danny O'Rourke, who coaches that unit of special teams, during film review on Monday.

Chad Lewellyn allowed a well thrown pass to sail right through his hands. Wide receivers coach Mick Yokitis will be chastising the promising sophomore for that mental lapse.

Chris Swain committed a holding penalty and a fumble on the opening series. Swain finished with a career-high 126 rushing yards, but those early miscues will hurt his overall grade for the game.

Outside linebacker Myer Krah entered the game for the first time and promptly blitzed when he was supposed to cover tailback James Holland, who slipped out of the backfield and was wide open for an 8-yard catch.
