Despite rivalry, fans say Army-Navy game best matchup in all of sports

The parking lots smelled of Old Bay and barbecue and the two tailgating camps marked their territory with two very different flags: "Beat Navy" and "Don't Give Up The Ship"

Hours before one of the country's oldest rivalries competed for the 117th time, their fans celebrated their respective teams with corn hole, beer and hot dogs.

People traveled all over the country to watch the Army-Navy game: A Navy veteran and his two young sons, a mother waiting for her son's acceptance letter to the Naval Academy, a proud grandfather whose three grandsons graduated from the Military Academy in West Point.
