Delaware's field hockey team made history last weekend, and a pair of Anne Arundel County products were right in the middle of it.
Redshirt junior Kayla Devlin dished off two assists while freshman Ally Pollak scored a goal as Delaware upset top-seeded Duke, 3-2, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. That stunner in Durham advanced the Blue Hens to the semifinals for the first time since 1982.
Delaware (21-2), which came into the tournament ranked eighth nationally, will face No. 14 Princeton (12-7) in Friday's Final Four at Old Dominion.
