UM WOMEN'S LACROSSE: Behind a career-high eight goals by senior attacker Megan Whittle, the top-seeded Terrapins defeated No. 3 seed Penn State , 21-12, to win their third straight Big Ten Tournament Championship.
Caroline Steele (Severn School) added two goals and an assist for Maryland. Whittle was named the tournament's MVP, while Steele made the all-tournament team.
For Penn State, Madison Carter (South River) scored four goals.
NAVY BASEBALL: The Mids (36-13) lost to Longwood on Sunday, 10-2, in their final regular game. Zach Biggers, Jacob Williamson and Ben Lowe collected two hits each for Navy.
