Jacob Williams (Old Mill) was voted the Patriot League Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Year, the league office announced on Monday afternoon with its postseason awards.
Williams was also selected to the All-Patriot League Second Team, while freshman Matt Nocita was placed on the Third Team All-Patriot League. Williams becomes the third Midshipmen to be selected as the Patriot League Rookie of the Year. He joins Michael Paisant (1997) and Derek Vogel (2012) to earn the recognition.
On the season, Williams led Navy with eight goals and 16 points during his first collegiate campaign.
