NAVY WOMEN’S TENNIS: The Navy women’s tennis team (25-5, 5-1 PL) has been awarded the No. 1 seed for this weekend’s Patriot League Tournament, which will be hosted by Army West Point.
Navy will open tournament play in the quarterfinal round on Friday at 8:30 AM against the winner of Thursday’s first-round match between No. 8 Colgate (1-5 PL) and No. 9 Holy Cross (0-5 PL). If Navy wins its quarterfinal contest the team would play in the semifinals on Saturday at 10:00 AM against the winner of No. 4 Lehigh (4-3 PL) vs. No. 5 Bucknell (3-2 PL).
