College Roundup: Navy women's swim team wins invitational

NAVY WOMEN'S SWIMMING: The Navy women's swimming team totaled more than 2,000 points to win the Frank Elm Invitational Sunday in Piscataway, N.J. The Mids accrued 2,096.50 points to outdistance second-place and meet-host Rutgers by 593.50 points.

Navy placed multiple swimmers into the championship final in each of the 13 individual events contested over the three days of the meet, with three or more Mids qualifying for 10 of those finals.

Navy will be off from competition until playing host to Army West Point on Dec. 10.

NAVY WATER POLO: The Midshipmen (15-13) concluded their season with a 12-8 setback to MIT in the ninth-place game at the CWPA Championship.
