NAVY WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: The Navy women’s basketball team placed fourth in the 2017-18 Patriot League Preseason Poll that was announced Wednesday by the league office.
Voters consisted of the head coach and sports information contact for the sport from each of the 10 league programs, and they were not allowed to include the school they represent on their ballot.
The Mids garnered one first-place vote and 119 points in all to comfortably finish in fourth place. Bucknell and Army West Point tied for first place as each received both seven first-place nods and 140 total points.
