NAVY WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: The Patriot League announced its 2018-19 Women's Basketball Preseason Poll on Thursday and Navy was squarely in the upper echelon of the league in fourth place. Consisting of votes from the 10 league coaches and each school's respective sports information contacts, the Bucknell Bison are the preseason favorites for the Patriot League with 14 first-place votes and 154 voting points.
The Mids stand in a two-way tie in fourth place with the Lehigh Mountain Hawks with 91 points. American (137 points – 2 first place votes) and Loyola (129 points – 4 first place votes) occupy the second and third positions, respectively.
