College Roundup: Navy women place 9th out of 35 teams in cross country meet

NAVY WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: The Mids finished ninth out of 35 teams at the Paul Short Run on Friday.

"I'm very pleased with our strong performances today," Navy head coach Karen Boyle. "We have had some good progress with everyone working extremely hard and putting it all together as we approach our championship segment of the season."

Senior Kelley Robinson paced Navy to its ninth place finish, crossing the tape at 21:11 for 25th place overall in a field of 312 runners. Freshman classmates Erin McDonnelland Ali Valenti finished within 13 seconds of one another to place 49th and 65th, respectively, with times of 21:30 and 21:43.
