NAVY SPRINT FOOTBALL: The Collegiate Sprint Football League announced on Tuesday the 103 recipients of All-League accolades. Divided amongst six groups, first, second and honorable mention offense and first, second and honorable mention defense, the Navy sprint football team secured 17 spots via 16 Midshipmen players. The quartet of linebacker Collin Ascherl, defense lineman Hardy Davis, wide receiver Matthew Hite and defensive back Kendall Mackey led the Navy corps as first-team award winners.
Davis and Ascherl were main cogs in Navy's front six, while Mackey controlled the Mids' five-man secondary. As a unit, Navy's defense was tops in the league with just 183.
