NAVY FOOTBALL: The Navy football team received votes in both the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches poll a day after its 33-11 victory over Air Force in the first leg in the battle for the Commander-In-Chief's Trophy.
The Mids received 19 voting points in the Associated Press poll and 12 voting points in the USA Today/Coaches poll.
Navy is off to a 4-0 start for the first time since 2004 and have won eight-consecutive games dating back to last year, which is the fifth longest winning streak in the country. The Mids face 15th ranked Notre Dame (4-1) on Saturday at 3:30 PM at Notre Dame Stadium.
