NAVY WOMEN'S SOCCER: For the second match in a row, Anabell Motley scored the winning goal in the 39th minute to help lead Navy past Mount St. Mary's, 2-0, on Sunday.
Natalie Dzhandzhapanyan also scored and Clare MacAdam tallied a career-high two assists, while Motley also chipped in with a helper.
Navy (4-6-1) dominated on the offensive end, outshooting Mount St. Mary's (3-4-1), 21-3 and held a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks. Defensively, the Mids recorded their second-straight shutout as senior Dayton Wetherby tallied one save in 80:32 minutes and teammate Sydney Fortson came in relieve for the final 9:28 and did not see a shot on net.
