One of the biggest questions confronting Navy football going into the 2017 season was about who would emerge as a go-to wide receiver.
After all, the Midshipmen graduated the most accomplished receiver of the triple-option in era in Jamir Tillman, who ranks second in program history with 1,626 career yards. Tillman led the Midshipmen in receiving for three straight seasons and there seemed no obvious successor.
Going into this season, no other wide receiver on the roster had more than 10 career catches.
Three games into the campaign, it has become clear that Navy did indeed have a downfield threat on the roster.
