That phrase will have to be altered slightly for Washington’s appearance in the 2018 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series event.
The National Hockey League and Adidas announced on Wednesday Washington will wear special edition uniforms for its game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on March 3 (8 p.m.) at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis.
Specifically designed for this game, the most distinctive element of the uniform is the predominantly Navy blue color scheme. It marks the first time in Capitals history the team will wear Navy blue jerseys and pants, according to the announcement.
