There will be fans in the stands to support the Navy football team during Saturday night’s home game against Temple.
The Capital has learned the Brigade of Midshipmen will be allowed toattend Navy’s second home game of the season. State of Maryland and Anne Arundel County officials approved a plan put forward by the Superintendent of the Naval Academy for the purpose of providing some sort of atmosphere at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
According to multiple sources, the Naval Academy plan features numerous safety protocols designed to reduce the possibility of a coronavirus spread. Midshipmen would be seated in a socially distanced-manner by company.
