Midfielder Gary Gait, attackmen Tom Marechek and Mark Millon, goalkeeper Greg Cattrano and faceoff specialist Paul Cantabene were some of the stars of the early Bayhawks teams that appeared in four championship games and captured the Steinfeld Cup twice (2002, 2005) during that era.
Midfielder Kyle Dixon along with attackmen Ben Rubeor and Danny Glading led the offense while the “Bash Brothers” – Nicky Polanco and Brian Spallina – anchored the defense as the franchise secured three more championships (2010, 2012, 2013) after becoming the Chesapeake Bayhawks.
Michael Evans was also a key member of the last three title teams and ranks right alongside all the aforementioned standouts as one of the greatest players in Bayhawks history.
