Playing its first game in 20 days, the Navy women’s basketball team was bolstered by the scoring production of its backcourt duo of Kolbi Green and Jennifer Coleman on Saturday afternoon.
Green erupted for a career-high 26 points on the strength of 9 of 15 field goal shooting, while Coleman equaled a career-high with 25 points as Navy beat Loyola Maryland, 69-60, at Reitz Arena in Baltimore.
Green added six rebounds, four assists and four steals in a superb all-around effort as Navy improved to 3-6 overall and 3-2 in the Patriot League. Coleman also grabbed 15 rebounds to post her fifth double-double of the season.
