Senior guard Shawn Anderson scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Navy men’s basketball team (9-3) rallied from an 18-point first-half deficit to win at Columbia, 73-68, on Sunday afternoon at Levien Gymnasium in New York.
Navy won its fifth straight and came out on top for the eighth time in its last nine games.
Columbia (1-9) led 31-13 with 6:44 left in the first half. But the Mids outscored the hosts 33-13 over the next 11 minutes and took their first lead of the game at 46-44 on senior guard Bryce Dulin’s fast-break dunk with 15:03 left.
