Anderson exemplifies improving Mids

DeChellis tells each player what they need to work on during the offseason in order to improve.

For Shawn Anderson, the focus was to work on his perimeter skills — shooting, passing and dribbling. That wasn't surprising since the 6-foot-4, 203-pounder had been a center at New Castle High in Pennsylvania, playing close to the basket on both offense and defense.

"Shawn needed to make the transition to playing on the perimeter. He had to become a better 3-point shooter and develop as a ball-handler.
