BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Shawn Anderson finished with 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals to help Navy hold off Lehigh 77-75 on Saturday.
Anderson scored five straight points to give the Midshipmen (14-9, 5-5 Patriot League) a 72-63 lead with 4:55 left in the game. Navy missed its next four shots and turned the ball over three times, while the Mountain Hawks used a 3-pointer from Pat Andree and 6-of-7 shooting at the free-throw line to take a 75-72 lead with 1:13 remaining. Anderson ended the drought when he grabbed an offensive rebound and scored with 45 seconds left and his layup with 12 seconds to go put Navy back on top.
