There will be a Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy series in 2020, albeit one like no other in history.
That’s because service academy rivals Army and Navy are the only opponents Air Force is playing this season because of cancellations caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
After some some uncertainty surrounding the series, Air Force on Monday morning finally announced a kickoff time for its home game against Navy. The Midshipmen and Falcons will tee it up at 6 p.m. EST (4 p.m. MST) on Oct. 3, the originally scheduled date for the matchup.
