The Predators have announced a coach hiring. After much curiosity about who the Preds would get to replace Phil Housley, they went with Dan Muse, formerly of the USHL’s Chicago Steel.
The team noted that Muse will work mostly with the forwards on the team, while also handling the penalty kill. Now associate head coach Kevin McCarthy will work primarily with the defense, while also overseeing the power play.
Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Friday that Dan Muse has been named assistant coach of the team. In addition, Kevin McCarthy has been promoted to the title of associate head coach.
