Approaching the 2008 NHL Entry Draft in Ottawa, the Nashville Predators had just come off a 91-point season and a first-round loss to the eventual Stanley Cup Champions - the Detroit Red Wings.
The Nashville Predators entered day one of the draft with the 15th overall pick in their pocket but made a series of moves and ultimately were not on the board when the Ottawa Senators selected Erik Karlsson.
But, before we get into that, let’s take a brief look at Nashville’s roster heading into the off-season.
