According to the AHL transaction page, the Nashville Predators have called up top prospect Vladislav Kamenev.
Nashville’s leading goal scorer, James Neal, missed Thursday’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, and is listed as day to day with an upper-body injury - according to nashvillepredaotrs.com. It is also worth noting that both Viktor Arvidsson and Mike Ribeiro missed some time during that game as well.
Kamenev is Milwaukee’s second-leading scorer this season with nine goals, 15 assists, 24 points. This will be the first taste of NHL action for the 20-year-old Russian, and he joins Viktor Arvidsson and Kevin Fiala as members of the Preds 2014 draft class to make it to Nashville.
