The Nashville Predators announced on Monday afternoon that they had sent prospect forward Zach Magwood to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for AHL forward Michael Carcone.
Carcone, an undrafted player who made his AHL debut in 2016 with the Utica Comets, has 250 games in the minor league. The well-traveled forward has seen time with the Comets, the Toronto Marlies, and the Bellevue Senators, where he played in 59 games last season. The 2018-19 season was his best in the AHL, where his combined 62 games in Utica and Toronto led him to a season with 20 goals and 44 points.
