Liambas, 27 (2/16/89), played the 2015-16 campaign with the Rockford IceHogs, Chicago’s AHL affiliate, notching two points (1g-1a) and 188 penalty minutes – second most in the league – in 44 games. Prior to last season, the Woodbridge, Ont., native spent two-and-a-half seasons with the Predators primary developmental affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals, posting 16 points (9g-7a) and 499 penalty minutes in 140 games. In 2014-15, the 5-foot-10, 195-pound left wing amassed seven points (5g-2a) and 158 penalty minutes in 53 games, and in 2013-14, ranked second in the AHL with 267 penalty minutes. Before latching on with the Admirals in February 2013, Liambas spent time with the ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones (2011-13) and Orlando Solar Bears (2012-13), and the IHL’s Bloomington PrairieThunder (2008-10) while also playing 25 games for the University of British Columbia (2010-11).
