Trenin gets another shot on the Nashville Predators roster tonight against the New Jersey Devils. He’s played in just one career NHL game, and that was back in mid-October.
In his NHL debut, Trenin logged 12:35 of ice time, one hit and two penalty minutes. He was kept pretty quiet, as you can understand for the 22-year-old playing in his first game. With that said, he’s absolutely crushing it in the AHL for the Milwaukee Admirals right now.
Trenin is on a ridiculous goal pace for the Admirals with 14 goals in 19 games. We have to hope that he can translate just a fraction of that scoring punch to the NHL.
