On-ice sessions, which will be announced at a later date, will include Learn to Skate programs, public skates, hockey games and more. To begin the festivities, select Predators season-ticket holders have been invited to help paint the ice as it is installed this Sunday at Bridgestone Arena.
“This unique partnership between Fifth Third Bank and the Predators will provide 25 percent more ice in the market for youth hockey players, figure skaters and first timers,” Predators Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Broadcasting & Entertainment Chris Junghans said. “It’s extremely important that we continue to expose young folks to ice-related programs, and equally important that we provide playing surfaces for those that already skate.
