The Nashville Predators acquired 36-year-old forward Vernon Fiddler from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for a fourth-round 2017 NHL Draft pick.
Fiddler played for the Predators from 2006-2009 and scored 11 regular season goals in each of his three seasons with the club.

Fiddler, 36 (5/9/80), has appeared in 857 NHL games over parts of 14 seasons with Nashville, Phoenix (Arizona), Dallas and New Jersey.
