Well, that is not what we expected. From the start of Game 5, the Nashville Predators felt like Rocky Balboa on the ropes against Apollo Creed. Every part of the game went in the favor of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Some of it was luck, but much was also skill.
Still, the Predators failed to capitalize on chances early. They were getting shots. But the offense was chaotic at best, and it left the defense exposed in transition. Was it the pressure of the moment? The crowd? No. It was their emotions, and it got the best of them.
