The Nashville Predators signed the Free Agent 24-year-old Swedish goaltender Jonas Gunnarsson to a 1-year entry-level contract. It was announced by the Predators GM David Poile this morning.
The Predators goaltending is in a bit of flux as last season’s backup goaltender Carter Hutton will be a Free Agent next month. GM David Poile has mentioned that he would like to resign Hutton. Marek Mazanec, from the Milwaukee Admirals, is also a restricted Free Agent.
Jonas Gunnarsson, the 6’2″, 198 lb goalie, spent last season with the Malmo Redhawks of the Swedish Hockey League, where he posted a .
