Victor Bartley played in just 37 regular season games for the Nashville Predators this past season but during that time he did put up career numbers. The bottom-pair blue liner may not have been on the ice as other Predators defenseman but he had a large impact on the Preds and their fantastic season.
Bartley was the odd man out at the start of the season with Nashville having five solidified defensemen ahead of him plus the addition of Anton Volchenkov in the off season to slot into Bartley’s potential number six spot. As the season went on injuries occurred and Bartley saw his playing time increase in the second half of the season.
