Pitlick has been with the University of Minnesota hockey team for the past three years where he has been a part of the top lines for the three years he has been there, looking very impressive for Nashville Predators fans liking.
He had 108 points in 112 games with Golden Gophers which for a college player is very good for a player in a tough division like the BIG 10, where there are a lot of good prospects but not many outstanding prospects.
However, Pitlick has the potential to be one of those few outstanding prospects from the BIG 10 very similar to Joe Pavelski who played for Wisconsin and was drafted in the seventh round.
