Egor Afanasyev is a top prospect in the Nashville Predators organization currently.
This year Afanasyev has been very productive and justifying his draft position in the OHL with the Windsor Spitfires. He’s scored 31 goals and 36 assists for 67 points. That’s in 62 games of action for some pretty impressive numbers for the 19-year-old.
The Predators have so many good and probable future superstars that has gotten them ranked a well-deserved top 25 Prospect ranking for NHL Prospects.
Afanasyev and Tyler Angle are tied with the most team points at 67 points apiece, while the team has been a standout team in the OHL with a quality record of 34-20-8.
