The road to 82-0-0 goes through Newark as the Predators will take on the Devils in their first road game of the season.
The Nashville Predators will take their 2-0-0 record on the road for the first time this season. They will face a rebuilding New Jersey Devils team that appears headed for the Eastern Conference cellar (and the future home of Auston Matthews?). Last year, the Preds split the two-game season series, with the loss coming in the midst of that dreadful late-February early-March stretch where nothing was going right. This year the Preds face the them coming off of a win and with a much brighter horizon.
