The Nashville Predators David Poile selected Kevin Fiala with the 11th overall pick in the 2014 NHL entry-level draft. Fiala, at 5′ 10″ 180 lbs is not a big man, but very shifty, has great puck skills, and a very good shot to match. He is known for his playmaking skills, and his ability to open up the ice for teammates yet has the ability to blow past an opposing team’s defense seemingly at will.
It is very clear that Fiala is willing to do whatever it takes this season to make the Predators. After spending the summer in Nashville, and working with the Predators’ strength and conditioning coaches, Fiala is poised to get every shot to make the team.
