Nashville Predators: Hockey season is officially open in Nashville

This is it! This is the day for which we have all waited! It has been 152 days since we last witnessed the Nashville Predators play meaningful hockey on the ice of Bridgestone Arena. It was a day we saw the team’s exit from the Stanley Cup Playoff at the hands of the Winnipeg Jets. Tonight, the Predators will officially close the book on 2017-18, hanging their first Central Division and Western Conference regular-season championship banners, and a Presidents’ Trophy banner.

Just one banner is left to earn for the complete set.

The foul stench of last year’s end still lingers, though it subsided considerably of late.
