Scott Hartnell was picked sixth overall by the Nashville Predators in the 2000 NHL Draft. After six seasons he was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers. Seven seasons with the Flyers & three seasons with the Columbus Blue Jackets later, he’s back in Nashville. It’s not a surprise if you keep up with trade rumors. Hartnell & Nashville came up the last two seasons in rumors around the trade deadline. It didn’t happen either time, but once Columbus bought out his contract it was just a matter of time before the rumored match was made.
Hartnell knows Nashville well.
