The Nashville Predators Harold Gill III was a world-class defenceman that took his talents to six different NHL teams before landing in the front office after retirement.
Hal Gill was drafted in the 207th overall in the eighth round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft by his hometown Boston Bruins seeing as he was born in Concord, Massachusetts and played for Providence in college. After his four-year stint at Providence, he joined his NHL club at the beginning of the 1997-98 NHL season.
Gill played over 600 games in eight seasons with the Bruins before the 2004-05 NHL lockout.
