The Nashville Predators game last January 27th against the Calgary Flames may have been the final game for Linesman Don Henderson.
It was during that game the Calgary Flames Defenseman Dennis Wideman hit him from behind while skating over to the bench.
It is now being reported that Linesman Don Henderson may have refereed his last game in the NHL after continuing to have problems from ruptured disks in his neck. He had continued surgery three weeks ago and it doesn’t seem to have helped. He continues to have concussion symptoms.
Kevin Paul Dupont of the Boston Globe said:
According to one of his friends in the officiating business, Henderson’s recent surgery was aimed at repairing two ruptured disks in his neck, the result of the hit.
