Forward Jiri Hudler will be hitting free agency this offseason, and as a charismatic veteran winger with buckets of hockey intellect in tow, he is sure to draw plenty of attention from front offices across the NHL. With the Nashville Predators likely scanning the market for a shot of scoring depth this offseason, Hudler’s name is undoubtedly on whatever watch list they may be compiling.
The 32-year-old displays consistent offensive creativity, averaging .72 points-per-game over the past five seasons. Though considered a bit undersized by NHL standards, he is only a season removed from a 76-point campaign (31 goals, 45 assists) which earned him Lady Byng Memorial honors.
